That's what's killing me here I got it to work, I had to uninstall it for a reason, and I can never get it to work again. I would assume it's my own graphics card that causes the problem (Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family) but the thing is that I -did- get this game to work a few years back on this same computer with the same hardware.
I've been working on this for hours on end: I tried switching compatibility mode, ran shortcut as administrator, nothing. So I got the game installed without issue, downloaded unofficial patch (re-directed it to the right folder that houses the game directory) and whenever I try to play I get a grey "Loading" screen followed shortly by "vampire.exe has stopped working." When I wait for windows to check for a solution to the problem, it just says there's been a problem, without specifying what that problem is, and I can only close the program. Hey guys I can't seem to play this game, please bear with me as I explain - I know this question probably gets asked a lot but I am truly desperate and have found no solution as of yet.
